<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor having satisfactory characteristics even at a high frequency and in a high magnetic field. <P>SOLUTION: In the reactor, amorphous magnetic powder is subjected to powder formation, and then an amorphous dust core prepared by heat treatment is used as a core. The amorphous dust core is manufactured by allowing Fe-Si-B based amorphous magnetic powder to be subjected to powder formation so that the density of a powder body becomes 5.0-6.0 Mg/m<SP>3</SP>, and the Fe-Si-B based amorphous magnetic powder is heat-treated at 400-500°C for 10-30 minutes in a non-reducing atmosphere.
