A vibration-damping handle e.g. for a rock drill comprises a vibration source (not shown), and a first body, a guide (11 or 26, 27) is attachable to the vibration source and adapted to guide a first vibration-damping body (15, 35) in the direction of the vibrations, spring means (17, 18 or 30, 31) to resist movement of said first body (15 or 35) relative to the base of said guide, and at least one transverse spring (19a, 19b or 34) carrying a second vibration-damping body (20, 20a, or 36, 37) off-set from said first body, and encased in a hand- grip (21a, 21b, or 32) that extends from the first body but is spaced therefrom on all sides. <IMAGE> |
