PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a transmitting device capable of automatically giving the entire setting information held by the transmitting device before exchanging by a PnP system by eliminating the need of prior setting of a VLANID and an IP address in a newly participated transmitting device upon exchanging transmitting devices. SOLUTION: When transmitting devices constituting a network system are exchanged, a new transmitting device uses a set transmitting device ID, transmits an IP address acquisition request by non-IP communication by an IP address acquisition requesting means 8, and requests another transmitting device that has transmitted an IP address acquisition response for set information by IP communication using an IP address by a set information acquiring means 12 when receiving the IP address acquisition response including the IP address by the non-IP communication from the transmitting device having the transmitting device ID by an IP address acquisition responding means 10.
