A tailgate locking system is provided to connect a striker to a ratchet on a right position without a clearance between them by elastically supporting the latch with a guide unit. A tailgate locking system comprises a striker(60), and a guide unit. The striker is protruded on a lower plate(50) to be assembled to a ratchet(R) of the tailgate. The guide unit elastically supports the ratchet to make the ratchet and striker assembled in the right position, comprising a bumper(71) making contact with the ratchet, a support(73) protruded on the lower plate, a pair of first elastic bodies(75a), each of which is in contact with the bumper at one side, and a pair of second elastic bodies(75b), each of which is in contact with the other side of the first elastic body and with the support. |
