A grass treatment device height adjustment assembly for adjusting the height of a grass treatment tool above ground level comprises a height adjustment mechanism and an elongate rotational element, such as a roller, having first and second ends, said rotational element comprising an axle extending substantially along the longitudinal axis of said element about which said element rotates, the assembly characterized in that the height adjustment mechanism comprises a rotatable member connected to said axle of said rotational element wherein said rotatable member is associated with a second fixed axis of rotation that is substantially parallel to but offset relative to said first rotational axis, said second axis of rotation thereby configured to enable said height adjustment mechanism to adjust the position of said first axis of rotation relative to said second axis of rotation.
