PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correction tape which makes it possible to rewrite again on the tape by transferring the tape onto a place where a written error is present. SOLUTION: The correction tape is provided with a front case (10) having a holding part (11) formed inside, a central part (20) provided in the holding part (11), a stretching-contracting member (30) which keeps one end in contact with the lateral wall of the central part (20) and is provided with a hollow columnar engaging part (31), a hollow columnar positioning member (32) and an elastic member, a sliding frame (40), a rear case (50) connected to the front case (10), and a spring (33) which is provided inside the rear case (50) and also positioned between the rear case (50) and the sliding frame (40).
