#CMT# #/CMT# The noise damping panel (1) has two wall surfaces (2,3) and multiple springs (4). The springs are arranged in a gap (7) between the wall faces, which are connected together. The individual springs are preloaded to bias the wall faces apart. The gap can be subjected to a vacuum to preload the springs.
