BACK LIGHT ASSEMBLY AND DISPLAY APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME

A backlight assembly and a liquid crystal display apparatus having the same are provided to improve color reproduction of the display apparatus and minimize color mixture between light sources. A backlight assembly includes a driving substrate(200), a light source group(LG), and a reflecting plate(400). The light source group is arranged on the driving substrate and has at least one of red, green, and blue light source(300). The reflecting plate is arranged on the driving substrate and wraps the light source group to open an upper side of the light source group. The reflecting plate has a reflecting bottom part and a reflecting lateral side. The reflecting bottom part has the light source group. A liquid crystal display apparatus includes the backlight assembly and a display panel. The display panel displays images. The backlight assembly supplies light to the display panel.
