FIELD: agriculture. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to agriculture and can be applied at artificial forest restoration. The inventions mission is to find of optimal characteristics and parametres of the optical radiation that is used to stimulate the germination of scotch pine seeds. The method of preplanting treatment of scotch pine seeds includes seeds processing by digit mercury lamp radiation of a high pressure through optical filters or in a combination with the chemical stimulators. Processing is held within of 20 cm distance during 1-40 seconds. As optical filters use allocating ultra-violet and violet optical filters and cutting off colourless optical filters 1-5 mm thick.
