PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a circuit as against the change of power voltage. SOLUTION: The circuit is provided with a series circuit 3 composed of a PTC thermistor P and a smoothing capacitor C in parallel with a load 2, between a rectifying circuit 1 and the load 2. By doing it this way, the PTC thermistor P improves the power factor by regulating a charge current since a resistance value goes higher when the temperature rises with the charge current, and also suppresses the generation of harmonics by suppressing the sudden increase of the charge current. On the other hand, at discharge, it suppresses the increase of the charge current and suppresses the sudden drop of the voltage since the resistance value goes higher when the temperature of the PTC thermistor P rises, thus it prevents the load from becoming unstable due to voltage drop.
