The invention relates to a method for the enantioselective production of aliphatic acyclic esters from racemic aliphatic acyclic ketones by means of Baeyer-Villiger oxidation. The invention further relates to the kinetic enzymatic racemate resolution of racemic aliphatic acyclic ketones.
