<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow container inner face sterilizer and sterilizing method preventing deterioration by having no electrode causing the deterioration of a lamp and dispensing with a resonator resonating an electric energy and requiring electric-wave sealing property in the hollow container inner face sterilizer and sterilizing method for sterilizing the inner face of hollow containers such as plastic bottles, plastic cups, plastic trays, paper containers, paper cups, paper trays and other hollow plastic moldings. <P>SOLUTION: This hollow container inner face sterilizer is provided with a power supply generating an electric energy such as high-frequency and microwave electric energy, a waveguide capable of transmitting the electric energy, and an electrodeless lamp penetrating the waveguide from its inside to its outside; a part at least exposed to the outside of the waveguide of the electrodeless lamp is made of quartz glass, and its surface has such a shape as having neither recesses/projections nor joints. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
