PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration absorbing device having improved assembling workability while preventing undesired displacement of a connection member before assembled on a vibration generator. SOLUTION: The vibration absorbing device 10 comprises: the connection member 20 for connecting a mount device 18 to an engine 1; a displacement restricting member 22 for downward encircling the connection member 20; and a stopper rubber 60 for covering the outer face of the connection member 20. An upward protruded locking protrusion 72 is provided on an upper face 62 of the stopper rubber 60 on both sides of a fixed portion 54 with a bolt 24, and a storage hole 74 is provided in the displacement restricting member 22 for storing the locking protrusion 72. The locking protrusion 72 is provided on the side of a second connection end 48 beyond an axial center 24A of the bolt. A first opposite protrusion 78 is provided on the front end side of a first connection end 46 beyond the locking protrusion in opposition to the inner face of the displacement restricting member 22, and a second opposite protrusion 80 is provided on the side of a second connection end 48 beyond the locking protrusion in opposition to the inner face of the displacement restricting member 22.
