PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating circuit stably operated by preventing decomposition of C-I binding even when a refrigerant including the C-I binding is used, and to provide an air conditioner for a vehicle using the refrigerating circuit. SOLUTION: This refrigerating circuit 12 comprises a compressor 22, a condenser 24, an expander 26, an evaporator 28 and a refrigerant protecting means for keeping a temperature of the refrigerant to be lower than an upper limit temperature determined so that the C-I binding is not decomposed, successively disposed in a circulation passage 14 where the refrigerant including the C-I binding is circulated.
