PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intention transmitting device capable of reducing a driver's burden on an own vehicle side. SOLUTION: A CCD camera 11 images a gesture for suggesting driver's feelings on the own vehicle 1 side, for example, a gesture for suggesting his/her feelings of thanks such as raising his/her hand lightly. An intention transmission controller 13 grasps driver's intention from the driver's gesture imaged by the CCD camera 11 and generates a message for suggesting the driver's intention grasped in this way, namely, a message expressing his/her thanks in this case. A transmission circuit 18 transmits the message generated by the intention transmission controller 13 (in this case, the message expressing driver's thanks) to the other party vehicle 3 side through communication between the vehicles as the intention on the own vehicle 1 side.
