<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device capable of backing up the information to be written to a nonvolatile memory even when shutting down power. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing device 1 comprises: a main power supply 3 for supplying electric power to the whole device to drive the image processing device 1; a standby power supply 4 for supplying electric power to a part of the image processing device 1; a control means (a control part 2) for controlling the image processing device 1; a nonvolatile memory (represented by EEPROM 2e) for storing device information used by the image processing device 1 including the setting information; and a volatile memory (represented by memory 2f) capable of retaining the storage state by the supply of electric power. When the information constituting a part or all of the device information cannot be written to the EEPROM 2e, the control part 2 not only writes the information to the memory 2f, but also provides the standby power supply 4 to the memory 2f. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
