PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bread baker which can prevent failure of cooking caused by forgetting a required operation during the cooking process. SOLUTION: The invention is provided with a bread container 6 equipped with mixing blades 9 for containing cooking materials (not illustrated) and mixing and kneading them, a baking chamber 4 equipped with a heater 7 for heating the bread container 6, a motor 3 for rotating and activating the mixing blades 9, a memory means (not illustrated) which memorizes the data of the voice guide which explains the operation method, etc., a voice generating means (not illustrated) which outputs the voice guide by voice, a control device 26 for controlling the movement of bread making process and the voice generating means, and a plurality of cooking menus. It outputs by voice guide the operation required during the time after the cooking is started until the cooking is completed for a user to realize by the voice guide even if he/she forgets the operation required during the cooking process and to understand the contents to make sure that a required operation during the cooking process is conducted and the prevent the failure of cooking.
