A plasma display panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to decrease a discrepancy between an electrode and an alignment mark by forming the alignment mark while electrodes are printed on upper and lower substrates. A plasma display panel includes an upper substrate(200), plural first and second electrodes, upper/lower substrate alignment marks(270), a lower substrate, and plural third electrodes. The first and second electrodes are formed on the upper substrate. The upper/lower substrate alignment marks are formed between a region of the first and second electrodes and an outermost area of the upper substrate. The lower substrate is arranged to be opposed to the upper substrate. The third electrodes are formed on the lower substrate.
