A battery loading device for a vehicle is provided to improve degree of freedom of arrangement and to transport a battery securely by clamping the battery with a hanging unit using electro-rheological fluid solidified by electricity. A battery loading device for a vehicle comprises the followings: a housing(20) of a cylindrical shape; a ram(23) inserted to the housing, to move up and down by an actuator(24); a hanging unit(29) formed by inserting and fixing a bag(30) of a cylindrical shape made of elastic material and filled with electro-rheological fluid(31) to a bottom surface of the ram of the housing; a power source(34) installed at an inner wall of the housing; and a battery(37) formed with a hole(39) at a cover(38) and a hanging groove(40) at a bottom of the hole. The battery is clamped by connecting a bottom of the housing closely to a surrounding of the hole, inserting a bottom of the hanging unit to the hanging groove, and solidifying and changing a shape of the electro-rheological fluid.
