#CMT# #/CMT# The machine has a frame carrying rotors that are provided of a tool-holder arm (7) whose outer end is extended from a hub and carries a working tool (8) having strands (9, 10). The strands are connected by a part including coils (11) which form loops. A bent section (12) serves to the fixation on the outer end, using a bolt (13), in which the outer end is engaged in the loops until the bent section and the coils are covered by a protective cover (15). The cover has a front leg (17) passing over an exterior side of the coils and is extended at interior of the loops till the outer end. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Haying machine i.e. fodder tedder, laid on the ground. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The cover has the front leg passing over the exterior side of the coils and is extended at the interior of the loops till the outer end of the arm, so that the coils and strands are retained and hooked to the arm by the front leg of the cover, during rupture of the strands, thus avoiding projection and loss of the strands and coils in the fodder in a simple manner, while preserving the coils of the working tool.
