<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxide-based thermoelectric material having superior electrothermal characteristic for making thermal conductivity and resistivity small, by containing C or C compound factor. <P>SOLUTION: After weighting SrCO<SB>3</SB>powder and TiO<SB>2</SB>powder with a molar ratio of Sr:Ti=1:1, they are mixed and dried in a tube mill for 20 hours with medium of ethanol. The mixed powder is molded with pressure using a metallic die under pressure of 60 Mpa. The molded body is inserted in a container made of Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>and subjected to temporary firing at 1,200°C among atmosphere for 10 hours by using an electric furnace. After the temporary firing, the molded body is subjected to mortar pulverization in a mortar, and subjected to wet grinding in a tube mill made with a medium of ethanol for 20 hours and dried. After that, the molded body is molded with pressure again under pressure of 60 Mpa by using metallic die. The completed molded body is inserted in a C-shaped container and sintered at 1,400°C in Ar atmosphere for 10 hours by using the electric furnace. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
