<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow extension of a range of easiness of seeing an original and use of the original and to allow an image which is to be printed, to be effectively used. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: an image reading means which reads an image of the original; a ground tint pattern detection means which detects a ground tint pattern from the image read by the image reading means; a display means which displays the image read by the image reading means; a printing means which prints the image read by the image reading means onto a paper; a paper ejection means which ejects the print paper printed by the printing means. The image forming apparatus is provided with: a ground tint pattern setting means which sets a prescribed ground tint pattern to a prescribed range of the image to be displayed by the display means when the prescribed ground tint pattern is not detected from the image read by the image reading means; and a ground tint pattern synthesizing means which synthesizes the prescribed ground tint pattern with the prescribed range of the image on the basis of setting of the ground tint pattern setting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
