<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an index table which changes a motor of a right-hand operable mode into a motor of a left-hand operable mode and vice versa. <P>SOLUTION: According to the arrangement of the index table 1, a rotary table 3 is rotatably supported on a frame 2 by a rotating shaft 10, and an installation plane 5 is set on the frame 2 so as to be orthogonal to a rotary table plane 4 of the rotary table 3. Then the motor 8 is arranged on either one 6 of two planes 6, 7 of the frame 2 orthogonal to the rotary table plane 4 and the installation plane 5, respectively, and the rotary table 3 is driven via a worm 12 of a worm shaft 11 and a worm wheel 13 arranged on the rotating shaft 10. Herein the motor 8 is detachable from the one plane 6 of the two planes 6, 7 of the frame 2 and mountable on the other plane 7, and an output shaft 9 of the motor 8 is coupled to an end of the worm shaft 11 close to the other plane 7, via transmission elements 14, 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
