PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a plate of a brittle material such as silicon to produce a needle of a timepiece. SOLUTION: An assembly element (18) for the timepiece (10) is provided with an opening (32) for inserting an arbor (26) in an axial direction. An inside wall (33) of the opening (32) is provided with elastic structures (34) in which a plate is etched. Each elastic structure (34) is provided with at least one supporting surface (36, 38) for fixing the assembly element (18) to the arbor (26) and holding the arbor (26) in a radial direction. Each elastic structure (34) is made of a fork to be connected to the inside wall (33) of the opening by a material bridge (40), and the fork is provided with two branches (42, 44) generally extended toward the arbor (26) on both sides of the material bridge (40). The branches (42, 44) are each provided with supporting surfaces (36, 38) in the vicinity of their free ends (46, 48).
