The invention provides methods and compositions for treating an estrogen responsive condition using an agonist of an orphan nuclear receptor, wherein the orphan nuclear receptor is an inhibitor of estrogen activity. The invention further provides methods for reducing the size of tumors associated with estrogen responsive conditions.
