PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorded program management device efficiently retrieving a desired program content even when many program contents are stored in a recorder such as an HDD recorder. SOLUTION: In a recorder such as an HDD recorder, additional special character information detected by an additional special character detection means is added to title information to generate a program list display screen, and title information are sorted on the program list display screen based on the additional special character information.
