AUTOMATIC CONTROL METHOD OF POWER WINDOW FOR VEHICLE

An automatic control method of a power window for a vehicle is provided to operate the power window automatically when a driver needs to slide down the window by utilizing a global positioning system embedded in a navigation device. An automatic control method of a power window for a vehicle includes the following steps. A driver selects automatic operation mode or manual operation mode of the power window by switching an automatic/manual switch(50). When the driver selects the automatic mode, it is informed that the automatic mode is on by sound. The vehicle enters a turnpike. A navigation unit(20) detects whether the vehicle enters the turnpike. A rain sensor(30) detects whether it rains or not. When it is not rainy a control unit(10) informs a driver of no rain through a speaker(40). When it rains, the control unit informs the driver of raining through the speaker. The rain sensor does not sense rain when the vehicle moves under the roof of the turnpike. The control unit informs the driver that is does not sense rain through the speaker. The control unit moves down the window as informing no rain.
