PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to adapt technical improvement of respective application activation of the mobile terminal and the television apparatus.SOLUTION: A communication system is configured such that a mobile terminal and a television apparatus can communicate with each other. The communication system includes: transmission means for transmitting an address on a network used by the mobile terminal to the television apparatus; power on means for making the television reception apparatus a fully power-on state when the transmission means transmits the address; and activation means for automatically activating an application to display a content obtained by the television apparatus with the use of the address.
