<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently process received video by a video receiving device 2 which receives the video transmitted from a transmission-side (video transmitting device). <P>SOLUTION: In the video receiving device 2 which receives the video transmitted from the transmission side (video transmitting device), a reception processing means 21 performs reception processing for the video transmitted from the transmission side at a reception speed faster than the transmission speed of the video from the transmission side, and a video processing means 22 performs prescribed processing (expansion processing) for the video received and processed by the reception processing means 21 using a reception standby time wherein the reception processing means 21 does not perform the reception processing for the video transmitted from the transmission side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
