发明名称 SPHERICAL FILLING BODY
摘要
The invention relates to the production of a spherical hollow filling bod y for filling containers for combustible and inflammable liquids or gases, a nd to a method for the especially advantageous uses thereof, for example, fo r preventing explosive combustion processes and explosions, for extinguishin g fires, as protection against corrosion in tanks, for separating fuels and water, as protection against bacteria and fungi in fuel tanks, as protection against theft, for reducing hydrocarbon emissions, for increasing the stabi lity and safety of tanks in the event of a crash, for reducing the boil-off effect of hydrogen, for applications in the chemical industry, for deriving static electricity from fuel containers, for protection against electromagne tic interferences, for reducing and slowing down the B.L.E.V.E. effect, for increasing the filling quantity of gas containers, for heating and cooling l iquids and gases, and for reducing evaporation loss. The invention also rela tes to methods for producing the filling body. Figure 1 shows a spherical fi lling body according to the invention, consisting of a plurality of disk-typ e circular vertical surfaces (1, 2 and 3) and a plurality of disk-type circu lar horizontal surfaces (7, 8 and 10) which are parallel to each other. A ci rcular opening (6) is located in the centre ofthe horizontal surface (10), s aid opening forming an axial continuous tube in the centre, from the top (4) to the bottom (5), together with the upper, inwardly open, circular sleeve- type body (4) and the lower, inwardly open, circular sleeve-type body (5), t he inner diameters of the sleeve-type, inwardly open circular bodies (4 and 5) and the circular opening (6) being identical. The vertical surfaces (1) e xtend from the outer edge of the spherical body to the edge of each circular opening (4, 5 and 6) of the parallel horizontal surfaces (7, 10 and 8) resp ectively surrounding the openings. The vertical surfaces (2) extend from the outer edge of the spherical body to half of the distance between the outer edge of the spherical body on the horizontal surfaces (8 and 10), and the ed ge of the circular openings (5 and 6) of the horizontal surfaces. The vertic al surfaces (3) form, above (4) and below (5), the connection between the ho rizontal surfaces (7 and 8) and the sleeve-type bodies (4 and 5). Openings ( 9) are located in the horizontal surfaces (8 and 7). Said openings are arran ged in such a way that an opening (9) is respectively located between the ve rtical surfaces (1 and 2), on the horizontal surface (8), and an opening (9) is located between the vertical surfaces (3), on the horizontal surface (7) .
