The valve unit has a block-like valve housing (10) arranged with valve cartridges (12). A backwash filter (14) is fixed to the valve housing and the housing of the backwash filter is formed in blocks. The backwash filter is provided with the pressure leading channels of the valve housing without separate hose or fittings in connection. An independent claim is also included for filter cartridge.
