The invention relates to storing information on compact discs and can be used for cleaning optical heads used for different-type devices for reading out information from compact discs. The inventive device for cleaning optical heads of two or more different type devices for reading out information from compact discs of corresponding types comprises a cleaning compact-disc provided with one or more cleaning members. Said compact disc comprises an information layer provided with a track containing a program for controlling movement of optical heads during cleaning. The cleaning compact disc is provided with one or more additional information layers, wherein each information layer has a track containing a program for controlling movement of optical heads of one type of the devices for reading out information from compact discs during a process for cleaning said heads.
