PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unsaturated monomer expectable of improving dispersing effects by steric repulsion without deteriorating polymerization reactivity, to provide a copolymer obtained by polymerizing a monomer component containing the unsaturated monomer and to provide a dispersant and a cement admixture comprising the copolymer. SOLUTION: The unsaturated monomer is an unsaturated monomer having an ethylenically unsaturated bond and an amino group. In the unsaturated monomer, one amino group is present per one molecule and two polyalkylene glycol chains are bound to the nitrogen atom of the amino group. For example, the unsaturated monomer is represented by formula (1). The copolymer prepared by polymerizing the monomer component containing the unsaturated monomer is useful as a dispersant for various kinds of powder and a cement admixture.
