DEVELOPER ADHESIVE AMOUNT MEASURING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer adhesive amount measuring device having constitution capable of stabilizing image quality by exactly deducing toner adhesive amount also for a highlight image.

SOLUTION: Image density control 302 is performed by discriminating the adhesive amount by using a result of measurement of the adhesive amount for the highlight image, which is performed by forming the patch image by the highlight image by deviating a pattern where one writing dot and three non-writing dots adjacent thereto are continued in a main scanning direction by one dot in a subscanning direction, and measuring the adhesive amount for the formed oblique line patch image, differently from a result of measurement of the adhesive amount for a patch image by a solid image.
