PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tooth-cleaning agent composition that exhibits high bactericidal effects after preserved for long terms, is excellent in preparation stability and hardly suffers from surface roughening of the preparation caused by low-temperature preservation. SOLUTION: The tooth-cleaning agent composition comprises (a) 0.01-0.5 mass% of isopropylmethylphenol, (b) 0.2-2 mass% of a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether bearing a 14-18C alkyl group and having an average added mole number of ethylene oxide of 2-20, and (c) 0.2-2 mass% of sodium sulfate. The tooth-cleaning agent composition further comprises (d) at least one selected from among spilanthol, a capsicum extract and borneol. The tooth-cleaning agent composition exhibits high bactericidal effects after preserved for long terms, is excellent in preparation stability and, in particular, hardly suffers from surface roughening of the preparation caused by low-temperature preservation.
