<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute a diagnosis of each module properly by providing a diagnostic program from a portable memory even when the diagnosis is executed to an electronic apparatus comprising multiple function modules. <P>SOLUTION: Maintenance ports 40 to 42 for connecting the portable memory 20 are provided in an image reading unit 30, a system control unit 32 and an image output unit 34. The diagnostic program is stored in the portable memory 20 which can be carried such as a USB memory, and downloaded to an image processor 10 by inserting the memory into any one of the maintenance ports 40 to 42. Therefore, the failure diagnostic program for any function module downloaded from any maintenance port can be transferred to the function module to be diagnosed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
