PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack capable of securing safety without turning into an inflammable state, even if batteries housed in it discharge high-temperature gas in an emergency. SOLUTION: The battery pack has an exhaust duct 1C to circulate gas discharged from the batteries, with which 1C, gas temperature is lowered to discharge the gas outside. A flow channel area of the exhaust duct 1C is in a range between 0.5 mm<SP>2</SP>or more per 1Ah of a battery capacity and 15 mm<SP>2</SP>or less.
