METHOD FOR REINFORCEMENT MANUFACTURING A COMPOSITE SABOT APPLYING BAND/HOOP LAMINATION

A method for manufacturing a composite sabot applying band/hoop lamination is provided to resist against expansion force applied to a circumferential direction of the sabot by using a band lamination and a hoop lamination scheme. A method for manufacturing a composite sabot applying band/hoop lamination comprises the step of forming at least four sub-segments by overlapping a plurality of plies. At least three segments are formed by laminating the sub-segments. Three pieces(140) are formed by laminating the segments. A composite sabot is formed by combining the three pieces. The step of forming the pieces includes a step of continuously laminating a band(90), which is obtained by overlapping at least two plies, to at least two portions of an arc surface and two 120 degree inclined surfaces of the piece.
