The control device 107 controls the continuously variable transmission 100 based on the kick-down mode 142 provided in the target value setting section 140 according to an operation of a kick-down operator 132, and is characterized by controlling the gear ratio of the continuously variable transmission 100 so as not to exceed the low side restriction value 143 provided in the target value setting section 140 in the throttle fully closed state.
