PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an image recorder for recording an image on double sides of a continuous paper has two drums or a drum having the length of two times of a sheet of paper width and is large-scaled with a high cost. SOLUTION: While the miniaturization and simplification of the configuration and the cost reduction is implemented by arranging two recording head units 1 for recording image information on the double sides of the continuous paper on the same periphery of the cylindrical surface of one drum and installing a continuous paper reversal mechanism between the two recording head units, the image information is recorded on the double sides of the continuous paper.
