The shield (1) has weak structural zones for permitting rupture of the screen with respect to vertical outer stress, where the screen is made of polyamide reinforced with glass fibers. The zones correspond to reduced thickness zones and are assimilated at a groove (7) which is in the form of a closed loop. A round and hollow projection (5) is defined by the zones. The groove is hollow on a surface of the shield, situated opposite to an internal combustion engine.
