A device for playing a photo and a moving picture and an album for preserving the same are provided to compensate for fragmentary property or large volume of a conventional album, and to enable a user to watch appearance of friends lively without using the internet. A device for playing a photo and a moving picture enables a user to edit the photo or the moving picture, to store the edited photo or moving picture at a basic memory, and to watch them via a simple operation. The photo or the moving picture is stored at an external memory card, the external memory card is inserted into an interface of the device like a socket, and is displayed via a simple button operation.
