A cosmetic composition is provided to maintain useful ingredients of a tissue cultured Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer adventitious root naturally and continuously and improve reliability and satisfaction of a user by recognizing the Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer adventitious root with sense. A method for preparing the cosmetic composition is provided to simplify a process, save the cost and prevent loss of the useful ingredients of the Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer adventitious root due to no extraction, isolation and purification of the tissue cultured Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer adventitious root. A cosmetic composition comprises 0.1-5 wt.% of a tissue cultured Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer adventitious root and 95-99.9 wt.% of cosmetic ingredients such as a solvent, an extender, an inorganic pigment, an organic pigment, an inorganic powder, an emulsion, a surfactant, a silicone-containing surfactant, a thickening agent, a stabilizer, an antiseptic, an antioxidating agent, and a perfume. A method for preparing the cosmetic composition comprises the steps of: (a) mixing conventional cosmetic ingredients; and (b) adding the tissue cultured Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer adventitious root thereto. Further, the Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer is selected from a group a wild ginseng, ginseng and Panax ginseng.
