PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaping method with light, which can adjust hardness and density to a necessary degree in each region to be shaped and is superior in working efficiency, when forming a three-dimensionally shaped product through a sintering process by using a light beam. SOLUTION: In a shaping method with light, which carries out predetermined times of operations of forming a powder layer with a predetermined thickness and sintering the powder layer with the light beam and cuts a periphery of the sintered layer, the shaping method with light further includes varying a degree of sintering by changing an amount of the light beam per unit area, which irradiates a surface 11 to be sintered, according to the shortest distance from a peripheral surface of each powder layer.
