PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction-heating cooking container which can be used as a packaging container when an object to be heated, such as frozen or chilled food is distributed to the market, be easily and safely used directly as a steam cooker by a commercially available electromagnetic cooker by a user who has purchased it and which can steam and cook an object to be cooked constantly under proper conditions without operation of an apparatus. SOLUTION: An induction heating element 3 is allowed to generate heat while it is in contact with water 7 which is poured in a container body 2. The water 7 is heated and boiled. The object 6 to be cooked is steamed and cooked by steam generated in the container.
