PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems wherein a condition of a refrigerating cycle is difficult to be acquired accurately, and a setting function is not utilized sufficiently to bring low comfortability even when humidity is set multistagedly, in a conventional air conditioner. SOLUTION: This air conditioner of the present invention is provided with a refrigerating cycle connected with a compressor 1, a four-way valve 2, an indoor heat exchanger 5 and an outdoor heat exchanger 3, and using a refrigerant having a lower pressure loss of the refrigerant than that of R22 refrigerant, an indoor fan 7 for generating an air flow passed through the indoor heat exchanger 5, an outdoor fan 6 for generating an air flow passed through the outdoor heat exchanger, a humidity determination part 8c for determining the set humidity multistagedly, and a control part 8 for controlling the refrigerating cycle, the indoor fan 7 or the outdoor fan 6 to bring the set humidity.
