PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal polyester resin composition for an electromagnetic wave shielding member having high levels of electromagnetic wave shielding effects and electrical insulating properties and to provide the electromagnetic wave shielding member obtained by molding the composition. SOLUTION: [1] The liquid crystal polyester resin composition comprises (A) a composite filler prepared by coating a filler composed of a magnetic metal etc., with a liquid crystal polyester (B1) and (B) a liquid crystal polyester (B2). The liquid crystal polyester resin composition satisfies the relationship of T1>T2 when the flow starting temperature of the liquid polyester (B1) is T1[°C] and the flow starting temperature of the liquid crystal polyester (B2) is T2[°C].
