An auxiliary device for water supply is provided to enable the auxiliary device to be generally used in sterilizing equipment by installing the auxiliary device in a filter without a separate silver electrolyzing device, and make it not necessary to manage separately the auxiliary device by manufacturing the auxiliary device together with the filter and allowing the auxiliary device and silver rods to be exchanged simultaneously. In an auxiliary device(200) for water supply, comprising an upper cap(40) in which a water inlet(20) is formed, a lower cap(50) in which a water outlet(30) is formed, and a filter body(80) which houses the upper and lower caps, and in which a filter(70) is installed, the auxiliary device is characterized in that: at least two silver electrodes(10) are arranged in the filter body such that the silver electrodes are electrolyzed by supplying power to the silver electrodes; a positive electrode is supplied to one sides of the silver electrodes while a negative electrode is supplied to the other sides of the silver electrodes; the electrodes are alternately supplied to prevent partial consumption of the electrodes; and a water flow sensor(150) for sensing a flow of water during supply of water into the filter body or during discharge of water from the filter body is installed on the water inlet or the water outlet to supply power to an electrode part during supply of water. |
