The present invention relates to the use of novel compounds for the manufacture of a medicament for treatment of, inter alia, conditions associated with critical care sepsis, septic shock, hepatorenal syndrome type I, hypertension induced by endstape venal disease, severe burus, thermal injury as well as to a method for treatment of said conditions, wherein said compounds are administered. The compounds utilised are represented by the general formula (I), as further defined in the specification.
