<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera module advantageous in improvement of durability and anti-shock. <P>SOLUTION: The camera module includes a lens barrel part 66, a lens holding part 68, a spring 70, an imaging element 29, and a drive part 72. The drive part 72 is composed to include a magnet 82, and a coil 84. The lens barrel part 66 is composed to include a front lens barrel 78 and a rear lens barrel 80. The drive part 72 moves the lens holding part 68 along the optical axis of a photographing optical system 34 and is composed to include the magnet 82 and the coil 84. The two magnets 82 are arranged in parallel to a single virtual plane passing through the optical axis in a part of the lens holding part 68 sandwiching the optical axis.
